For the first show I held at the gallery, I created the clothes from recycled materials expressing my love for fashion while incorporating my artistic style.
The girls represented one artistic outlet while the surrounding decorations and pieces represented a different outlet. It was a show that presented art on many levels and portrayed beauty in various ways.
Transformations 1
March 29, 2012
In the Transformations show the goal was to use strictly recycled materials to create art not only seen on the walls but also seen on models. The models performing in this show are wearing outfits created from newspaper and magazine clippings proving that you can create something beautiful out of something small.
Spirit Among Us
April 24, 2012
Spirit Among Us was a performance insprired by public reactions to my paintings. People would contact me explainging that they have found faces throughout the paintings that were not intentionally painted. It spoke to me as angels and those from above showing that you are never alone and there is always someone looking out for you.
Transformations 2
March 23, 2013
This Transformation show was a new twist on using recycled materials to create outfits. Not only were newspapers and magazines used but plastic and paper bags were also incorporated. Boxes and fabric were used as well as pieces from nature itself. When given the oppertunity to try, imagination and creativity can produce art in ways you wouldn't expect.
Drawing Show
April 26, 2014
For this show, I created the clothes based on drawings created by children in Stamford. The performance was a way to showcase not only my designs but also the work done by the kids. I am very happy and proud of what we were able to create together and hope you enjoy it as well.
Nature Talks
April 10, 2015
This show brought nature to life in a fun and exciting way, incorporating nature inspiried pieces of art, along with designs that best represented nature at its most beautiful. This show contained pieces created by myself, as well as my dear friend Rosa Colon who showed her interpretation of Nature as it speaks to us.
